GT RETRO

 

A bit of a diversion for grampy teds this time, as I decided that the true retro look required a painted rather than wood-grain finish.

10mm (heavyweight) bellyboard made in the Classic late 50’s/Early 60’s shape. 4’ long X 12” at the nose tapering to 9” at the shaped trailing edge, with a steamed radial upward curve in the nose.
On the lower face, the standard grampy teds twin off-set lines have been painted on the diagonal and stylised into a wave motif and the grampy teds logo included in a colour matching reflective graphics sticker sealed into the waterproofing layers.
The upper deck, or face, has been matched with the base producing a classic retro automotive look (colour scheme borrowed from a 1962 Vauxhall Victor Envoy (owned by my Dad!)) with the grampy teds production logo sited centrally within the design.

All surfaces have been sealed within four layers of high quality Yacht varnish as usual.

Both 6mm and 10mm weights are available and different colour combinations can be achieved.
